A work which one enjoys through the natural grace of its dialogue and its particular approach to the evil of our time: loneliness in the company of others.
- Patricia Espinosa, Ámbito Financiero
After the success of La omisión de la familia Coleman, Argentinian actor, writer and director, Claudio Tolcachir, presents Tercer cuerpo, a work which premiered in Buenos Aires in August 2008.
Onstage, a ramshackle office, a couple's house, a bar and a medical consulting room - different settings which take their turn in the same space, bringing together the lives of five people, united by loneliness, lack of understanding and the need to love.
Using strong black humour, Tercer cuerpo is a theatrical offering which owes everything to the work of the actors. The staging strips out everything which is not essential to present us with a clear, harsh vision of the future of five men and women clinging to their routines - easy prisoners in an impossible battle with everyday life. This is, according to the company, not only "the story of loving and not knowing what to do, the story of a ridiculous attempt (at doing something)" but also "the story of wanting to live each day in spite of everything."
