A career which includes awards both here (in Argentina) and abroad, Daniel Veronese is one of the most respected names in Argentinean theatre.

After staging versions of two works by the Russian maestro, Anton Chekhov - Espía a una mujer que se mata (based on Uncle Vanya) and Un hombre que se ahoga (Three Sisters) - Argentinean director Daniel Veronese and his company present the fruits of their Proyecto Ibsen (Ibsen Project). For this, Veronese (one of the founder members of the alternative theatre company, El Periférico de Objetos, and winner of more than 30 theatre awards) investigates the work of the celebrated Norwegian playwright with a theatrical programme divided into two sections. Although El desarrollo de la civilización venidera (A Doll's House) and Todos los grandes gobiernos han evitado el teatro íntimo (Hedda Gabler) are two independent works which can be performed separately, they nevertheless have many links not only because they use the same stage but also through their strong dramatic connections.
