Jérôme Deschamps and Macha Makeïeff have together produced more than 20 productions (Les Étourdis, Lapin chasseur and La cour des grands, amongst others) and created the popular French series Les Deschiens, broadcast by Canal Plus. With their acute sense of humour, this artistic couple, one of the most famous in France, has produced works full of unusual tenderness which are also hilarious studies of human day-to-day existence, all performed with a particular visual and aural imagination.

Red imitation leather stools, wallpaper, the bar of the Macumba disco and a platform for the musicians. The participants take to the stage. The bell sounds. The music begins. Cue Bob Marley, Prince, the Bee Gees, Nirvana. The tracks echo round the streets. Who's invited to this crazy party? Who isn't? The manager watches from the bar and the cleaning woman joins the pulsating group which converts the ultra-kitsch 70s-style set into an insane arena of frenetic and vibrant dance in which more and more elements accumulate but in which there is, above everything, a strong joie de vivre...
