Homeless actors rehearse a play about the life and death of the destitute Rosario Endrinal, murdered by three youths beside a bank cash machine. Their method is improvisation. The challenge is the pressure of an approaching first night and the difficulties of the cast. Luz is the workshop director who is prepared to try anything. However, it is the taunting style of Charito, the lead role actress, which clears the obstacles holding up the rehearsals and the playwright’s block. In this production, Paloma Pedrero reflects the experience of eight years working with a group of homeless people created by the Fundación RAIS (Red de Apoyo a la Inserción Sociolaboral), based in Madrid. It is a project consisting of professional artists and performers together with homeless actors who are members of the body, Pacientes Ambulantes. A social message which avoids being a moral tale, sponsored by the Fundación Coca-Cola Sáenz de Vicuña.
